92, Av. des Champs-Élysées has seen a lot of history. The island nation of Malta is represented here and on 25 August 1944 firefighter Robert Berlinger sacrificed his live in the liberation of Paris. Founding Father, author of The Constitution and US President Thomas Jefferson leased the Hôtel de Langeac, which stood at this location. It was torn down in 1842 to be replaced by the current apartment building.
